The release of the PS5 keeps getting closer and closer, and more information keeps coming out all the time. We were recently informed about 10 games that will not be playable on the PS5. Throughout the last couple years, both Xbox and PlayStation have been great about having old games be compatible to the new system, but there have to be at least some games that cannot be played on new consoles.
The 10 games are as follows:
- Afro Samurai 2 Revenge of Kuma Volume One
- TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2
- Just Deal With It!
- Shadow Complex Remastered
- Robinson: The Journey
- We Sing
- Hitman Go: Definitive Edition
- Joe’s Diner
Here is the good news: these are all low-profile games. In fact, I had only heard of a couple from this list. That being said, could this be the start of the end? Could there be more games coming out that are way more well-known than this list that will end up unplayable on the new consoles? I am not an engineer, but it seems like it has to be a challenge to make older games compatible for a brand-new system. We as gamers can only hope that there continues to be only low-profile games that will not be brought over to the next consoles.
So, what do you guys think? Have out played any of these games and are sad that they will not be taken over to the next system? Are you worried that more games will be left behind? Let me know what you think in the comments.
