Apex Legends’ Fight Night Collection Event Just Started

Apex Legends is preparing for its first collection event of season 7 to welcome 2021. With new beginnings on the horizon, Fight Night Collection Event looks to capitalize on our excitement. The occasion just started on January 5th, so you better gather your crew to dive into it to collect new skins and test a new temporary game-type “Airdrop Escalation Takeover.”

Apex Legends has been looking for new unique game modes to offer in every event since its launch, and this one is no different. This time, the game won’t launch its events own playlist; instead, it’s going to take over the normal mode of Apex. Players will receive more supply drops which will contain fully-kitted weapons of different tiers each. The supplies are going to start to deploy as soon as players leave the Jumpship. Four supply drops will land on the ground in the beginning, and more of them will keep coming each round.

Contents of the boxes will increase in terms of tiers when the game closes to an end. Like the same process of usual fully-kitted weapons, you can’t change attachments, but regular weapons will still appear as ground loots.

When you call an event “Fight Night,” there has to be a boxing ring, and Pathfinder needs to be the star of it. Within the event, a ring will take place in Olympus, the new map of Apex Legends, and all weapons and abilities will be disabled upon entering the ring. The only way to beat somebody down after that will be with your fists. Preventing all interference from outside, the ring will also contain many loot balls which offer some rare loot. However, you can only use these loots when you leave the arena.

The Fight Night event will feature 24 special, limited-time cosmetics. Players can obtain them through direct purchase for Apex Coins or Crafting Metals and from Event Apex Packs during the occasion. All event packs will consist of one event item and two non-event items. Also, the players who collect all 24 cosmetics will be rewarded with Gibraltar’s Heirloom.

MRVNS are a new way to collect items in-game. These little guys will produce loot for the legends who interact with them. Only in Olympus, you can see what MRVNS offer through their screen.

  • White sad face = Common level 1 loot
  • Neutral blue face = Rare level 2 loot
  • Pleased purple face = Epic level 3 loot
  • Very happy yellow face = Legendary level 4 loot

Apex Legends’ Fight Night event has kicked off as of January 5th, but the duration of the event hasn’t been announced yet.
