Dr. Disrespect Doesn’t Think Mobile Gaming is a Serious Thing

The battle between PC players and console players has lasted a long time, and it doesn’t seem like the competition will be over soon. Now, the competition has a new side: recent improvements on mobile devices have led to the birth of mobile gaming and mobile gamers. What’s more, Dr. Disrespect, one of the biggest streamers, sent a tweet verbalizing his negative thoughts about mobile gaming.

“I’ve got 3 state-of-the-art 1ms speed color calibrated monitors staring at me, a keyboard with titan switch optical keystrokes and a mouse that weighs literally nothing backed by a 200k multi pc setup…” he said. “And you have the guts to tell me mobile gaming is a serious thing?”

So many mobile esports players and figures replied to the tweet disaffirming Dr. Disrespect’s opinion. But there were also a lot of people who agreed with the star streamer. His tweet got nearly fifty thousand likes and two thousand retweets.

The harshest answer probably came from the head of YouTube Gaming himself. “And Nobru is pulling 4x the live viewership than you just playing from his phone.” Nobru is a popular Brazillian Free Fire content creator on YouTube, and his videos have an approximate viewership of more than 1.5 million.

Of course, there were also challenges to Dr. Disrespect, and the biggest one was offered by Ferg, YouTube star of CoD Mobile. “1v1 on COD Mobile for $100,000. You on your PC and I’ll play mobile,” Ferg said. Doc didn’t respond. But Ferg’s passionate fans were determined; they visited Dr. Disrespect’s following stream and started spamming “1v1 Ferg.” This event must have made Doc angry, since he enabled “Members Only” chat during the livestream.

Even though the CoD Mobile community keeps asking him for a 1v1, it doesn’t seem like Doc’s going to accept this challenge. If you ask me, his attitude seems full of disrespect.
