Randy Muhammad “Dreamocel” Sapoetra is back with BOOM Esports after a mere three-month break from the org, according to BOOM Esports’ announcement on Twitter.

Starting in January 2017 as the team’s position 1 core, Dreamocel had spent close to four years with BOOM before departing in December 2020 despite decent results with the team. The player had not mentioned any particular reasons for his departure, leaving the community to speculate that he just needed a new adventure.

Joining a new squad under the banner of ZeroTwo alongside his former BOOM teammate “inYourdreaM”, Dreamocel managed to land in sixth place in the Dota Pro Circuit 2021: Season 1 – Southeast Asia Lower Division, barely avoiding elimination from the DPC circuit. After two months with ZeroTwo, Dreamocel is back with BOOM Esports. With BOOM, he will be playing in the SEA Upper Division of DPC Season 2.

Dreamocel’s rejoining news comes after BOOM let go of Andrew “Drew” Halim. Drew’s departure was one of many controversial decisions of SEA teams letting go of their players, the most significant being T1 releasing “JaCkky” despite qualifying for the Singapore Major with his help, and replacing him with his previous stand-in, Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon.

Dreamocel will be joining his former teammates, Rafli Fathur “Mikoto” Rahman, Saieful “Fbz” Ilham, Brizio Adi “Hyde” Putra and Alfi “Khezcute” Nelphyana, to compete in the upcoming Asia Pacific Predator League 2021, which starts on April 6, 2021.

Current BOOM Esports Dota 2 roster:

Randy Muhammad “Dreamocel” Sapoetra

Rafli Fathur “Mikoto” Rahman

Saieful “Fbz” Ilham
