The Call of Duty League is starting soon and all the details about it have been revealed. Rosters are locked and teams are waiting to compete against each other. This year, the 12 participating teams were drawn into two groups as seen below.
- Dallas Empire
- Los Angeles Thieves
- Minnesota ROKKR
- London Royal Ravens
- New York Subliners
- Seattle Surge
- Atlanta FaZe
- OpTic Gaming
- Florida Mutineers
- Toronto Ultra
- Los Angeles Guerillas
- Paris Legion
League’s newest organization Los Angeles Thieves will face Dallas Empire in its first-ever Group Stage. Other teams are also strong and hard to beat, but the latest champion is the biggest favorite in Group A.
Atlanta FaZe and OpTic Gaming will compete against each other in Group B. These two teams will be able to face each other once again after the OpTic brand returned to the scene.
The group results will determine seeding for majors. Ten CDL Points will be awarded per Group Stage win. There will be five stages and all the teams will attend each event. The top eight teams in CDL Points, after all stages, will advance to the Championship.
Both groups seem balanced. New faces will have their chance to prove their worth and rosters have been shuffled with the new four-man squad format. The Call of Duty League’s opening weekend is on Feb. 11-14 and this five stage madness will come to an end on July 18.
