The first time Pro View was announced, it pretty much got the community hyped. Watching games from a player’s perspective can be really educational, but after some time, Riot Games disabled the option. According to the company’s announcement, LCS Pro View is back on track including a free option. The free option offers two random players on a team to watch. There is also a paid option if you want to watch whoever you want in a game.
There are some important differences between free and paid options. Free users will be able to watch two POV streams of a game and those two will be randomly selected. Here are the other free features according to Riot Games:
- Autocomplete search to discover content by team, player or champion
- Revamped multiview player with POV previews
- Enhanced highlights timeline with instant replays of key moments in the game
- Updated real-time statistics with hints for beginners
Pro View was removed last year without any further information. We didn’t know when we would be able to get our hands on it again, but Riot Games probably worked hard on it to make it available for this year’s use. The free option is like a cherry on top.
The feature gives you an opportunity to see the game through your favorite player’s perspective. If you watch the game through a pro player’s eye, you will eventually learn a lot in terms of map movement. Famous content creator and coach LS watches LCS games with this feature and helps his community explore a different perspective of the game.
If you really want to improve your gameplay and macro game, you should check the feature out!
