My 5 Favorite Main Missions in Cyberpunk 2077

Although the main campaign in Cyberpunk 2077 is not as long as some fans would have liked it to be, it is still chock-full of amazing missions. Here are my top 5.

#5 – The Pickup

My favorite missions were those in which I could tell my actions would really affect the rest of my game. This is why I really liked the mission called The Pickup.” In this mission, which takes place in act 1 of the game, you are with Jackie, going to pick up a Flathead from a gang. You are also able to make a deal with Meridith or even betray her instead. Some other options allow you to kill the leader of the gang or have him fight on your side. There are so many different ways you can play this mission which adds to the fun of making these snap decisions. This mission shows off probably the best thing about Cyberpunk 2077, which is the story choices. It for sure earns a spot on my list.

#4 – Lightning Breaks

The mission Lightning Breaks” is also a fantastic time. In this mission you and Panam meet at midnight and you get to learn a lot more about her and her past. You also get to use this awesome turret attached to the vehicle. There is a lot of Johnny in this mission, which you know always makes for a good time. This is a classic Cyberpunk mission and is a ton of fun to play.

#3 – The Rescue

Even though this mission was sort of a tutorial mission at the start of the game, “The Rescue” is still a ton of fun. You and Jackie go on a rescue mission and get into a lot of trouble. This mission sets the game up for success and shows players what they can expect for the rest of the game. It is always positive when the first mission in the game is one of the best and that is exactly what happened here.

#2 – Play it Safe

“Play it Safe” is another one of my favorites. This mission takes place pretty far into act 2 and has you go on a heist and face a pretty intense boss named Oda. The boss is a  Ninja-type character who is actually pretty tough to kill. This mission has it all.

#1 – I Walk The Line

“I Walk the Line” is the last mission I will be talking about and it is a doozy. It is another one of those missions where your choices will affect your outcome. V can take different approaches on the mission based on how he is built. If he is a smaller build, a stealth playthrough will be best, but if he is a bigger build, you can go all out and take more of a fighting style. Either way, you need to be ready to face off against Sasquatch, a pretty tough boss.

There you have it guys. I have actually not finished the full game yet so I still need to do a little research to make sure that I’m not missing any mission which deserved to be on this list. Did I get it right? Let me know.
