Call of Duty League 2021 is almost here and the rosters are still being announced. All the teams made their four-man squad clear after the Paris Legion announced a week or two ago. Now, the Florida Mutineers announced its substitute player for the upcoming season. 18-year-old Neptune will sit on the bench and wait for his time during the 2021 CDL season.
Neptune is a new face for the scene as his professional Call of Duty career will begin this year with the Mutineers. Before this transfer, Neptune played at the amateur tournaments and Call of Duty Challengers Cup. He played on the same team with names like Drazah, Blast and Decemate. They have competed under the name of Westeros during Call of Duty’s North American Challengers Cup #2.
The Florida Mutineers’ roster is packed with individual talents. Havok, Skyz, Owakening and Slacked are all pretty good when it comes to individual performance, but their chemistry could determine what they will achieve. A lot of their opponents look pretty good, so if the Mutineers fall behind building up the chemistry, it could be a long season.
Neptune is a hot prospect for all of the CDL teams. The Florida Mutineers did a great job adding him to the roster for the upcoming season. If Neptune can take the opportunity and show what he is capable of, we might see him climb the ranks in the future.
