Paris Legion Sweeps Florida Mutineers, Grabs First Win of the Season

The Paris Legion had an awful start to the season and lost its first two games without showing any signs of any life. Both matches were one sided and the European representative looked disastrous. Today, the Paris Legion swept the Mutineers and proved its worth by picking up the first win of the 2021 Call of Duty League season.

Game 1 – Hardpoint

The competition started back and forth in Hardpoint. Both teams got ahead time and time again, but eventually, the Florida Mutineers increased their lead and got closer to the win. The fed up Paris Legion didn’t let its opponent take the wheel and won the first map by 222-220.. As you can tell from the score, the first map was really close. Aqua’s 38-kill inhuman performance was fun to watch. On the Mutineers side, Neptune put so much effort by grabbing 33 kills but couldn’t help his team.

Game 2 – Search and Destroy

It looked like the Paris Legion had momentum from the first map and used it by getting 2-0 up. The Florida Mutineers didn’t waste any time catching their opponent and tied the game at 2-2. Paris won the ninth round and reached game point. The last round was pretty sad for the Mutineers; Classic started defusing the bomb, but Slacked couldn’t catch him in time due to his positioning, and Paris won the game 6-4. Skrapz was the real hero for his team with 12 kills. Florida’s ROY candidate, Owakening, played his heart out but couldn’t finish the job.

Game 3 – Control

The Paris Legion didn’t have any troubles winning the last game. The Mutineers won a round in the last map, but Classic decided the game with 32 kills. The Paris Legion won the last game in a quick 12 minutes.

Fans were expecting a Florida Mutineers win today, but the Paris Legion upset everyone with a surprising performance. The first two maps were so close and really fun. Paris Legion grabbed its first victory in 2021, and it looks like Florida Mutineers players have a lot to discuss after today’s game.
