Who got next? FaZe 5 is in full effect ladies and gentleman!
Earlier this week, the gaming juggernauts of the FaZe Clan announced the return of the FaZe 5 recruitment challenge where not, one, not two, not three, not four, but five people will have the esteemed honor of becoming an official member of the Clan. The announcement set social media in a frenzy as hopefuls from around the globe made their intentions to enter known, putting the rest of the field on notice by posting some of their best gaming clips.
An announcement such as this one from an organization with a social media following of more than 15 million is sure to attract a wide variety of personalities and talent. Such was the case with graphic designer and 3D Artist “JanDZNs,” who created this sick visual as the ultimate nod to the 22-time esports champions.
What we have here is a magnificent expression of human creative skill and imagination in the form of a cinema 4D visual. This splendid display of art appeals with an impressive display of dynamic textures and a tactical blend of coloring that matches the lively spirit of the FaZe Clan. Like any great artist, Jan’s artistic attention to detail is not only showcased in the sheer brilliance of the visual and all of its elements, but also with the inclusion of the likeness of some of FaZe’s biggest sponsors— G Fuel, Nissan, and SteelSeries— to further solidify the infrastructure of FaZe City.
The city life never looked so good. This has been your daily reminder that the FaZe Clan is more than just a brand—it is a lifestyle. #FaZeUp
Milton Glaser, famous graphic designer and cofounder of New York magazine once said: “There are three responses to a piece of design – yes, no, and WOW! Wow is the one to aim for.” JanDZNs, you get a WOW from me my guy. In fact, the talented graphic artist received hundreds of wows in the form of retweets and likes. The image even got a tweet from G Fuel, the official energy drink of esports! And not just a retweet either… they took the time to craft an actual tweet to their following of 1.5 million.
Based on this tweet, it looks like FaZe City may have only just been the beginning of something special.
