Pokémon Foolery

In the immaculate world of gaming there is limitless entertainment, competition, memories, and much laughter. Throughout its 25 years, Pokémon has provided all of the above and then some as one of the most widely-recognized brands this universe has seen. In this spin-off of “This Week in Gaming Foolery,” we’ll take a look at some of the silliest and funniest Pokémon content from its community of highly humorous and creative fans.

This isn’t just ordinary foolery… it’s Pokémon foolery.

Foolery

We start this laugh fest off with episode 2 of the ‘Starter Squad’ YouTube series featuring the adventures of the OG’s, Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle. This series is a personal favorite for its highly unnecessarily silly antics. Guaranteed laughs galore.

Why is Charmander so savage?! 😂

If you’re not familiar with the critically acclaimed show Robot Chicken, now is as good a time as ever to get familiar. The show is the brainchild of actor Seth Green and is known for its extremely over-the-top parodies and pop culture references. Naturtally, the show had to get in on the Pokémon wave.

Poor Pichu…

Lowkey facts… 💪

The rave-style music, with the whole crowd chanting… Yeeeah, this would actually suck.

This parody Pokémon battle between the animated series’ ageless main character Ash and Misty—one of his first companions in the series—is one of the most popular Pokémon videos on all of YouTube. Pure foolery.

An animated depiction of what a human Pokémon battle would look like… highkey a brilliantly accurate crossover and humorous depiction of fisticuffs among us humans.

The clapback 😂

The original ‘Who’s that Pokémonsegment from the anime…

Some of the parodies…

Let it be known that the Pokémon verse is excellence in gaming, entertainment, and foolery.

These “If Pokedex Entries Were Literal” compilations are pretty silly and worth checking out as well. That is, if this wasn’t enough foolery for you.
