Keeping with the spirit of the season, it seems that another game is going to have a Valentine’s day surprise. This time it is Pokémon Go! The event will take place from February 14-18 and has a lot to offer. There will be some pink-colored Pokemon to grace your screens including Munna and Musharna, which are actually coming to Pokémon Go for the first time ever!
There is also a special Valentine’s Day PvP event where you can use your new pokémon to battle other players online for all the glory. We have also been promised the following list of Pokémon, which will all be able to hatch from 5km eggs. The list is Eevee, Cleffa, Igglybuff, Togepi, Luvdisc, Munna, Woobat, and Cottonee. We also got a list of Pokémon, both male and female, which will now start spawning more often with this Valentine’s Day update. These Pokémon are Plusle, Minun, Volbeat, Illumise and Luvdisc.
Pokémon Go also told us that the following bonuses will be coming: there will be an increased chance of becoming Lucky Friends with your friends, a better chance the Pokémon you trade will become a lucky Pokemon, an increased chance of getting berries from gifts and finally a trade range increase to 40m.
There will also be raids during the event which will feature Pokémon such as Volbeat, Illumise, Feebas, Munna, Espurr, Togetic, Espeon, Umbreon, Gardevoir, Gallade, Alomomola, Latias, Latios, Mega Pidgeot, Mega Gyarados and finally Mega Ampharos.
This event sounds like it will be a ton of fun and it has plenty of new content and features. I would for sure recommend checking this event out if you have not played Pokémon Go for a while. This is the perfect time to get back into all the action.
