The HellRaisers start 2021 with a new year’s Resolut1on joining the squad.
Roman “Resolut1on” Fominok officially joined the HellRaisers squad on January 1, 2021. The organization themselves were joking about him being the new year’s Resolut1on on their twitter announcement post.
Resolut1on will be joining Alexander “Nix” Levin, and Ilya “LIL ME ALONE” Ilyuk as part of the HellRaisers roster for the DPC 2021. Since Resolut1on has outperformed expectations in the carry role, it’s expected that he will be taking up the reins as the position 1 player in the team, which leaves Nix to be their midlaner. Lil, as always, will be the position 4/5 support.
The 24-year-old Ukranian has played for top teams in the past, helping them snatch first place finishes in various regional tournaments and top 10 finishes in larger ones. He finished second in The International (Ti) 6 with team Digital Chaos, and top eight with Team Empire and VGJ.Storm in Ti 7 and Ti 8 respectively. He has also played for numerous other teams, including OG, Virtus.pro, Planet Odd, J.Storm, Forward Gaming, and Quincy Crew.
Resolut1on has been a formidable player across his stand-in and permanent roles, but it’s yet to be seen who his pairings will be on the HellRaisers. The team currently lacks an offlaner and support player, and HellRaisers has not released any news about either role.
With the DPC starting in a mere two weeks, the HellRaisers squad has a very short window to fill in the player and spare time for scrims before the start of the DPC 2021.
