Respawn Is Working On A New IP

You can never go wrong with Respawn, and their new IP is leaving us to our imaginations. Plus, they confirmed Jedi: Fallen Order 2 is on the way.

Respawn Entertainment posted job ads for an internal team to work on a new IP. We don’t know anything about the title other than it being a non-sequel game, which means it’s not going to tie into any of their previous works or any other established franchise from other developers.

We do know that they confirmed the future release of the next Jedi: Fallen Order sequel, but this new team won’t have a hand in it. If you were hoping for TitanFall 3, that’s not coming anytime soon thanks to Apex Legends, which honestly saved the franchise from failing after its prior lagging sales.
There’s a chance that this new IP and JFO 2 will release during the same year. We’ve already seen Respawn-mania in 2019 when Jedi: Fallen Order and Apex Legends dropped, and people are still crazy about both titles today.

Don’t expect any in-depth details about Respawn’s new IP for a little while. Even though it isn’t the most secretive company when it comes to releases, we can expect a well-crafted game stemming from a new IP and a brand new team behind it. Regardless of what it is, I hope it pairs well with JFO 2.
