Psyonix’ Rocket League will expand its arsenal in an upcoming season two, which will start on December 9th. Season 2 features a new Rocket Pass, a brand new customization option called Player Anthems and an arena alongside music and content from hit artist Kaskade.
Arena will obtain its latest car R3MX within the new battle pass. The first version of R3MX will be immediately unlocked with Rocket Pass premium while its final version will be awaiting at Tier 70.
The new Rocket Pass will also consist of a bunch of fresh content apart from a car. Filiformer and EQ-RL decals are going to decorate trucks alongside Woofer and MTRX wheels. When season 2 arrives, you’ll be able to show your talent in the upcoming arena Neon Fields. You’re going to feel the retro theme at its finest when you compete in this shiny arena. The players will find it in Online Playlists and Private Matches.
The forthcoming season provides more options to players customizing their own arenas by bringing Riser & Light Show goal explosions and Player Anthem. Within the Player Anthem, the players will be able to choose their favorite music to play when they score.
Besides, the increased music playlist will be presented to the competitors in the game. As an addition to Monstercat, an electronic music label and partner of Psyonix, the company also teamed up with the American DJ Kaskade, who is going to create EP-featured songs just for Rocket League.
There is more good news for the players who’re looking for fun. Rocket Labs will be added periodically throughout season 2 as a Casual LTM Playlist, according to Psyonix.
The game update for season 2 will go live on December 8th at 4PM PDT.
