The Game Awards are off to a bang as Nintendo announced that Final Fantasy’s Sephiroth is joining the Super Smash Brothers Ultimate Roster.
Sephiroth is the main villain of the Final Fantasy Remake joining Cloud as the second character from the series. His unveil to the Smash roster will bring excitement to fans of both games.
Sephiroth is the 78th fighter in the game, and is the third character in the second Super Smash Brothers DLC Fighter Pass. He joins the likes of Min-Min from Arms, Steve from Minecraft and three other characters to be revealed in 2021.
It is unknown at this time how this time how his mechanics will be but it is expected to be in a livestream with Super Smash Brothers Ultimate game creator Mashihiro Sakura by the end of the year or into early next year.
