Tell Me Why won the Games for Impact award at the 2020 Game Awards. The narrative adventure game is Developed by Dontnod Entertainment and published by Xbox Game Studios.

Tell Me Why beat out If Found…, Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition, Spiritfarer, and Through the Darkest of Times to snag the Games for Impact award. The Games for Impact category awards games that bring the gritty reality of our society to the fore, are thought-provoking or promote a pro-society message.

Tell Me Why has previously won the Gamescon award for the Best Microsoft Xbox Game. It’s the game’s first award in the Games for Impact category.

Released on August 27, 2020 for Windows and Xbox One, the game had garnered a generally favourable response, while Metacritic reported a slightly more lukewarm response.

Dontnod Entertainment are the acclaimed developers of Life is Strange. Other titles under their belt include Remember Me, Vampyr, and Twin Mirror.

The Game Awards are currently broadcast live on numerous platforms, such as Twitch, Youtube, and Facebook Live.
