The art of the gaming bender

Every serious gamer has had a gaming bender: it is a fact of life. That being said, there is absolutely a right way to go about it and a wrong way. I am going to walk you all through some tips and tricks that will help you out next time you want to stay up all night playing your favorite game.

First things first, you need to either get a good night’s sleep the night before or take a nap during the day. Playing a game all night is no fun if by 3AM you are getting tired and your skills are going down. I don’t want to sound like your mom, but sleep is important

Next you are going to need good snacks and drinks to help give you energy during the night. My personal recommendations are some Doritos chips and a Red Bull or Mountain Dew to wash it down. The only bad thing about the Doritos chips is that you are eventually going to have to take a quick break to get the chip dust off your fingers. A small price to pay for deliciousness if you ask me.

Red Bull has always been my go-to caffeine beverage. I love the taste and I love how easily it goes down. I also of course love the energy it gives me compared to some other drinks that sometimes make me anxious. Mountain Dew is just good all-around. My favorite soda by far.

It is also important to have a clear mind before you play. You need to be fully prepared for the amount of gaming you are about to undergo, and if you are worried about other stuff, you will not be ready. Spend the day calming yourself and keeping an empty head so you will be fully ready when night comes. You might think I am being a little too serious, but anyone who thinks this has never had a full gaming bender before, I can guarantee it.

There you have it: all my personal tips on how to have a good night of gaming. I hope that these tips will help you next time you are staying up all night playing your favorite game. I would have to say that my personal favorite games I have ever had a gaming bender on are Warzone, GTA V and Far Cry 5. I can’t wait for all the hyped up games to come out this year so I can grab my chips and play all night long.
