The Walking Dead Skins Are Coming to Fortnite

It’s been just a couple of days since Fortnite’s Episode 2 Season 5 began, but still, Epic Games has fallen into a rhythm of a new collaboration every single week. This time, Michonne and Daryl of beloved TV Series The Walking Dead join Fortnite as crossover skins. The duo was announced during The Game Awards.

Even though it’s not surprising anymore that Fortnite brings in famous characters as skins to the game, I don’t think anyone thought Season 5 would feature them this quickly. After The Mandalorian, Kratos and Master Chief skins, Michonne and Daryl will take their places in the shop on December 16th.

In the announcement trailer, Michonne and Daryl were doing what they used to do: hunting zombies. Then, Fortnite’s character Agent Jonesy showed up with a rift in his hand, opened a portal and teleported the zombie hunter duo to his world with himself. They managed to survive in the series for ten years, but are they capable enough to claim Victory Royale?

The prices of the skins are yet to be announced, but they are expected to be the same as the premium skins. Though how you can earn them is still unknown, it’s likely that the collaboration skins will be displayed in the store along with additional cosmetics like gliders, pickaxes and backblings.

In The Game Awards, Epic Games also revealed that Master Chief from Halo was coming to Fortnite. The Halo bundle is currently available in the game and you can purchase it with 2,600 V-Bucks.

The Walking Dead skins will be available starting from December 16th.
